Welcome to the Boyle County Fire
Explorers Page

Fire Explorers Post 107
Fire Service Exploring is a worksite-based program for young men and
women who have completed the eighth grade and are 14 years of age, or 15
years of age but have not yet reached their 21st birthday.
Fire Service Explorer posts which are part of the Learning for Life
organization, help youth gain insight into a variety of programs that
offer hands-on career activities. For young men and women who are
interested in careers in the field of fire and emergency service,
Exploring offers experiential learning with lots of fun-filled, hands-on
activities that promote the growth and development of adolescent youth.
Post 107 Fire Explorers meet every 1st Thursday at Boyle County Engine 3
station in Parksville and on the 3rd Thursday at Boyle County EMS
Headquarters located on the South Danville By-Pass. All meetings
start at 6:30 PM.
Explorers get the chance to train along side firefighters, help at local
events, fire prevention / public education and much more.
Please check Announcement page regularly for updated explorer
activities.
